The concept of the “Mentor Program” is to facilitate the growth and learning our new officials.  This is accomplished by matching up a new official with a veteran official.  

 

The veteran acts as a resource person to follow the progress of the new official, and to ensure his/her questions are being answered.

The veteran helps keep the new official moving in the right direction, and aware of the proper procedures and mechanics of the Association.  

 

It is not intended for the Mentor to provide training for the new official but to serve as a resource for guidance and advice.
